Evocative and engaging interior design for private homes

Lissi Meadley - Director

about

Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, Lissi is renown for creating beautiful country homes both locally and across the UK. Each project is thoughtfully tailored to its owner. Blending a love of natural textures and elegant colour palettes, Lissi seamlessly pairs sublime aesthetic with the practical demands of contemporary living.

‘People often ask what kind of projects I work on. My niche is turning country properties into homes. Serene but characterful spaces that feel as good as they look. With 20 years as interior designer behind me I’ve worked on residential properties all over the world. But it is the UK countryside - and the wonderful variety of buildings it offers - that truly has my heart. Some clients need an hour of consultancy to guide them in the right direction. Others seek support through a complete renovation or new build.’

‘Sometimes a project is a derelict historical building. A true blank canvas. Full of curveballs, rich in character, and entirely unique. The challenge, and the joy, lies in adapting these historic spaces for modern living while carefully preserving their history, charm, and soul, to be loved and lived in once more.’

Lissi’s experience spans private residences throughout the UK countryside, London, Paris, South of France, the French Alps, Balearic Islands, Beirut, Hong Kong and Moscow. From country estates to city pied-a-terre apartments, mountain chalets and coastal retreats, leading her to specialise in the transformation and restoration of country homes.

After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art with a 1st Class Degree in Design and Applied Arts, Lissi was awarded the national title of 'New Designer of the Year'. She went on to further her studies at Chelsea College of Art, before beginning her career within London's highly regarded interior design industry. Having worked at two leading design studios Lissi quickly progressed to Studio Director where she led and managed projects across the UK and internationally, before starting her own studio in 2016.
